DR. EMILY KIBERD

Dr. Emily Kiberd is a Chiropractor, movement specialist, and founder of

Urban Wellness Clinic, the premier wellness center in Midtown Manhattan."

Dr. Kiberd's multidisciplinary style of Chiropractic techniques, Dr. Kiberd has been featured in more than 50 media outlets including Self, Refinery 29, Vogue, Observer, Dr. Oz, Muscle & Fitness and Elle and has her own podcast titled 'Muscle Medicine'. A former state-ranked tennis player from Michigan, Dr. Kiberd knows the importance of maintaining proper functional movements on the tennis court as well as specific movement protocols to prevent tendonitis, tennis elbow, and knee pain in training high-level athletes. She uses a combination of active therapies, dynamic movement, and functional strength training including Active Release, Neurokinetic Therapy, and DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization). Dr.Kiberd is often quoted on her expertise within biomechanics, strength training, and high-level athletic performance.

 

As our Official Movement Expert, her knowledge and feedback will be crucial to the sponsorship reviewal process.
