One of the most compelling looks of the entire night comes from the renowned champion and co-host of the Met Gala event itself, Naomi Osaka.

Like many other individuals, Osaka used the American theme as an opportunity to celebrate her roots and heritage, paying homage to Japanese culture within her ensemble.

Last but not least we can't forget our Canadian friends and athletes, Lehya Fernandez and Felix Agur Aliassime - both making their first-ever appearances at the Met Gala, the biggest fashion night out in history. We see these two making strides as Fernandez glides across the carpet in a remarkable black and white striped dress by Carolina Ferreah, noting a tribute to her favorite players of all time- Serena and Venus Williams.
